This site has been started by 3 very passionate ladies (Derryth, Tiffany and Lauren) we are all looking for a place to go that is safe, informative and supportive without being sickeningly sweet or prescriptive to find the infomation we need to take care of our families.

Lauren is a working mom with twin girls in Grade 1 who felt that sometimes the information she needs in order to do the best she can for her daughters, comes too late. She is starting to find that she can trust herself with the most important decisions but has to go to the ends of the earth to get enough information to be able to make the best decision she can.

"I wanted to start this website because I know that every decision I make is the best that I can with the information and insight that I have at that time, but I would like to have more. More options, more ideas and more input.", says Lauren.

The time of alternatives is now and while we know that not everything is mainstream or proven fact, it is nice to know that we can choose. We hear all the time how moms have had bad experiences with incomplete information and it is our intention to try to complete that information and help you to use your intuition to get what you need.

Derryths’ passion to equip women with better tools to make better decisions and be accountable for those decisions started years ago and has grown through many things. "Being a mom to 3 girls aged 4, 10 and 12 has taught me so much. Not only about myself but also about who I want to be. They inspire me daily, they make me grow daily and keep me on my toes on days when I would normally lie down." My profession has also provided me with tools that I can pass on to my girls so that they become women that believe in themselves no matter what". Providing moms with the same tools and information just seems logical and the only way to live life. INFOMOM is the place that moms and women will grow, evolve and change from.

Tiffany is not yet a Mom. However she has been thrown head first into the world of pro creation by being around her numerous friends. They are all prancing around in a blissful cloud of "pregnantness", clutching double pink lined tubes of plastic and inventing names in order to come up with fantastic "new age" monikers to call their off spring. Names that will outdo each other in that playground we call life. However, even though Tiffany has for years pooh-poohed the idea of having children a strange thing has recently occurred. A strong ticking sound can be heard reverberating through her brain in the quiet hours of the morning and after checking every clock in the house, she has realised that in fact it is the mythical, biological time piece other women have warned her about. So keep yourself posted and hopefully, what with all the practising that is going on, she will have an announcement to place on INFOMOM before too long.
